This Almanac about Venice History comes from years of research in the Frari Archives, in the Marciana Library and in Correr Museum.
Between old shelves, turning the pages of ancient Buste, Raspe, Commentarii, I could taste the emotion of touching manuscripts, with signatures and seals of Procuratori, Dogi, Condottieres...
I transcribed the many interesting things I have discovered part on books, others on slide-shows, others more are just laying as simple notes on my personal archives.

- 13 April 1178
- Muore nell'isola di San Giorgio il Doge Sebastiano Ziani, dopo che il giorno precedente aveva abdicato.
- 13 April 1341
- Una commissione formata dai Senatori Marin Faliero, Andrea Dandolo, Marco Morosini e Giustinian Giustiniani autorizza l'allargamento della strada da San Bortolomio, partendo dal Fondaco, sino a San Giovanni Grisostomo.
- 13 April 1487
- Su ordine di Sigismondo Arciduca del Tirolo vengono improvvisamente arrestati tutti mercanti veneziani che si trovano a Bolzano, confiscando altresÀ¬ le loro merci. Immediata protesta del Senato Veneziano che dichiara guerra.
- 13 April 1513
- Ordinanza in veritÀ curiosa: il Senato proibisce alle donne di pettinarsi a fungo.
