This Almanac about Venice History comes from years of research in the Frari Archives, in the Marciana Library and in Correr Museum.
Between old shelves, turning the pages of ancient Buste, Raspe, Commentarii, I could taste the emotion of touching manuscripts, with signatures and seals of Procuratori, Dogi, Condottieres...
I transcribed the many interesting things I have discovered part on books, others on slide-shows, others more are just laying as simple notes on my personal archives.

- 29 October 1281
- Autorizzata l'importazione di bestie da macello in Venezia dai territori di Treviso e di Padova.
- 29 October 1288
- In occasione delle feste di Natale e di San Pietro verranno distribuite L. 1.500 tra tutti monasteri del Territorio veneziano.
- 29 October 1773
- Il Procuratore veneziano Andrea Tron, dovendo recarsi in gita con alcuni amici, chiede all'Abate Giuseppe Toaldo (professore d'Astronomia ed esperto in Meteorologia) se il tempo si manterrÀ buono:
"À§elenza, sÀ¬. RestarÀ belo tuto el zorno".
Durante la gita la comitiva À¨ perÀ² colta da un tremendo acquazzone. Rientrato a Padova e incontrato nuovamente il Toaldo, il Tron gli domanda a bruciapelo:
"Dixeme, caro vu. Saveu qualo xe el santo manco furbo in paradiso?
- ˤelenza no.
- Ve lo digo mi: el xe San Marco (cioˬ lo Stato) che passa el stipendio a vualtri professori".
