This Almanac about Venice History comes from years of research in the Frari Archives, in the Marciana Library and in Correr Museum.
Between old shelves, turning the pages of ancient Buste, Raspe, Commentarii, I could taste the emotion of touching manuscripts, with signatures and seals of Procuratori, Dogi, Condottieres...
I transcribed the many interesting things I have discovered part on books, others on slide-shows, others more are just laying as simple notes on my personal archives.

- 6 April 1106
- Un terribile incendio scoppiato in una casa situata vicino la chiesa di San Lorenzo distrugge gran parte della cittÀ e non meno di ventiquattro chiese.
Per avere idea della forza dell'incendio, si sa che una fiammata attraversĂ€˛ il Canal Grande.
- 6 April 1229
- Succedendo a Marco Nicola, viene eletto Vescovo di Castello Marco Michiel.
- 6 April 1259
- D'ora in avanti le barche e navi sequestrate per contrabbando non siano piĂ€ą bruciate ma bensĂ€¬ vendute a beneficio del Comune.
- 6 April 1494
- La parrocchia di Oriago viene ufficialmente riconosciuta da Papa Alessandro VI.
