This Almanac about Venice History comes from years of research in the Frari Archives, in the Marciana Library and in Correr Museum.
Between old shelves, turning the pages of ancient Buste, Raspe, Commentarii, I could taste the emotion of touching manuscripts, with signatures and seals of Procuratori, Dogi, Condottieres...
I transcribed the many interesting things I have discovered part on books, others on slide-shows, others more are just laying as simple notes on my personal archives.

- Francesco Baldovino viene appeso alla forca situata fra le due colonne della Piazzetta.
Àˆ reo di aver complottato per assassinare i capi del Consiglio dei Dieci.
- 5 March 1476
- Alla bella etÀ di 81 anni, viene eletto Doge Andrea Vendramin in concorso Con Benedetto Venier e Andrea Lion.
- 5 March 1565
- Viene approvato il nuovo statuto del Collegio degli Spetiali della Inclita cittÀ di Venezia.
Con il nuovo ordinamento l' Arte della spetiaria ovvero dei farmacisti, viene ad assumere maggior senso di responsabilitÀ e disciplina.
- 5 March 1696
- Nasce a Castello Giambattista Tiepolo, da Domenico "mercante di negozi da nave" e da tale Orsetta.
Il 16 aprile successivo viene tenuto a battesimo nella chiesa di San Pietro di Castello dal Patrizio Giovanni DonÀ . DiverrÀ celeberrimo come pittore, uno dei massimi del '700 veneziano.
