This Almanac about Venice History comes from years of research in the Frari Archives, in the Marciana Library and in Correr Museum.
Between old shelves, turning the pages of ancient Buste, Raspe, Commentarii, I could taste the emotion of touching manuscripts, with signatures and seals of Procuratori, Dogi, Condottieres...
I transcribed the many interesting things I have discovered part on books, others on slide-shows, others more are just laying as simple notes on my personal archives.

- 12 March 933
- A seguito del blocco marittimo attuato dai Veneziani, il Marchese d'Istria Wintero, che li aveva perseguitati sequestrando i loro beni, ˬ indotto a firmare la pace per mezzo del Patriarca di Grado. Si obbliga a riconoscere alla Serenissima tutti i benefici e i diritti sull'intera Istria.
- 12 March 1171
- Malgrado l'intervento degli Ambasciatori Sebastiano Ziani e Aurio Malipiero, l'Imperatore Manuele Comneno ordina a Costantinopoli che in tutto l'Impero i Veneziani siano imprigionati e i loro beni confiscati. Solo nella capitale gli arrestati sono ben diecimila.
A tale notizia grande ˬ lo sbigottimento in Venezia e da tutte le parti si grida: "Guerra! Guerra!".
- 12 March 1483
- Dietro lagnanza dei medici viene decretato che i barbieri possano medicare solo bruschi, sgrafadure, macadure, ferite in casi lezieri et non di pericolo di morte.
