This Almanac about Venice History

comes from years of research in the Frari Archives, in the Marciana Library and in Correr Museum.
Between old shelves, turning the pages of ancient Buste, Raspe, Commentarii, I could taste the emotion of touching manuscripts, with signatures and seals of Procuratori, Dogi, Condottieres...
I transcribed the many interesting things I have discovered part on books, others on slide-shows, others more are just laying as simple notes on my personal archives.

12 September 1491
Venuta a conoscenza che nel convento di Sant'Anna a Castel­lo le monache conducono una vita dissoluta, la Quarantia Criminal dopo un'inchiesta procede contro alcuni Patrizi per aver essi commesso atti carnali con le monache.
12 September 1583
Nella notte tra l' 11 e il 12 crolla la chiesa dei SS. Gervasio e Protasio (conosciuta come di San Trovaso) a causa ­di un gravissimo incendio scoppiato per cause ignote.
La prima pietra della nuova chiesa verrÀ  posta il 26 lu­glio dell'anno successivo e verrÀ  terminata nel giro di sette anni.
